The Baltic Sprint Cup, one of the most successful regattas ever in Baltic waters began its ground-breaking second series in Stavanger Norway on Saturday July 1st 2006 and finished at Warnemünde on Wednesday July 12th after visiting Gothenburg, Aarhus, Copenhagen. A memorable FinalShowDown party with a spectacular firework concludes a great event.
The stop overs in Aarhus and Copenhagen were sponsored by Bank DnB NORD, Copenhagen, a joint venture established by DnB NOR, Norway's largest financial services group, and NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank, the leading universal Bank in Northern Germany.
The title sponsor of last year, NORD/LB [Norddeutsche Landesbank, Hanover], took over this year the port sponsoring at Warnemünde. HanseNautic, Hamburg, Germany largest sea chart supplier as well as SE SPEZIAL ELECTRONIC, Bückeburg, and ERNST KABEL DRUCK, Hamburg, has been sub sponsors of the event.
